Bar & Foundation Center Moving
The Mecklenburg County Bar & Foundation Center will be temporarily located at 1123 South Church Street, Suite 103, Charlotte, NC 28203 in the Charlotte Catholic Diocese Center effective Wed., May 29. All telephone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses will remain the same.

Bar Election - Meet the Candidates
All active members of the MCB were mailed a ballot for Judge Bell's seat. This ballot must be returned by Tuesday, May 21, 2013 to be accepted for tabulation.

Now Appointing 2013-14 Committee Members
One way you can get involved with your Bar, develop relationships with your colleagues and advance into a leadership position is to join MCB committees. Each June, the new Bar president appoints a new class of members to each committee - most for a three-year term.

Proposed Amendment of the MCB By-Laws
At the Annual Meeting on May 23, 2013, the membership will vote on the amendment of the MCB By-Laws. The proposed amendment is recommended to the membership by the unanimous vote of the Board of Directors at its February 28, 2013 meeting.

2013-14 Budgeting Process
All MCB members are invited to provide input at a meeting of the Finance Committee on June 19, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. and/or tender budget suggestions to MCB Treasurer John Nipp.

MCB Board of Directors and Officers Nominations
Review a list of individuals who have been nominated and will be presented for election at the MCB Annual Meeting on Thurs. May 23.

Nominate an MCB YLD Young Lawyer of the Year
The MCB YLD Young Lawyer of the Year recognizes the outstanding contributions young lawyers are making to the practice of law and the Mecklenburg County community as a whole. Nomination deadline: 5/17/13
