Proceeds are in support of nonprofit and government agencies

The Hon. James B. McMillan Fellowship Fund on Thurs., Feb 23 promotes justice and innovation within our local legal system by awarding paid fellowships to law students to work with local nonprofit and governmental agencies. The main source of financial support for these fellowships is the annual McMillan Fund Dinner.

The keynote address will be provided by Frye Gaillard, writer-in-residence at the University of South Alabama and author 17 works of non-fiction, including The Dream Long Deferred: The Landmark Struggle for Desegregation in Charlotte, North Carolina and the 10th annual presentation of the Julius Chambers Diversity Champion Award to Valecia M. McDowell of Moore & Van Allen PLLC.

When: Feb. 23, 2017 at 6 p.m.
Where: Byron's South End (101 W. Worthington Ave.)

We hope that you will join us for this exciting event--and in supporting this year's McMillan Fellows--by attending the 2017 Hon. James B. McMillan Fund Dinner!
