The giving spirit of the Mecklenburg Bar Association and the 26th Judicial District Bar has helped the Foundation award over $300,000 in grants since the pandemic, and we hope you will help us continue making an impact in the community we share in 2025-26.
The following organizations were identified, vetted and approved as recipients of grants of up to $10,000 during the 2025-26 grant cycle:
The Center for Community Transitions - The Center for Community Transitions (CCT), formerly ECO, has been a part of the community solution to crime in our area for over 40 years. CCT's mission is to strengthen our community by helping people with criminal records and their families find a healthier and more productive way of living. CCT meets its mission through the LifeWorks! program and the Center for Women.

The Isabella Santos Foundation - The Isabella Santos Foundation (ISF) envisions changing the landscape of rare pediatric cancer treatment from diagnosis to survivorship worldwide. Their mission is dedicated to improving rare pediatric cancer treatment options to provide transformational care for kids with cancer, aiming to increase survival rates worldwide. The Isabella Santos Foundation partners with Novant Health and Levine Children's Hospital to offer counseling and whole foods nutrition services.
Safe Alliance - Safe Alliance's mission is to provide hope and healing for those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. Safe Alliance serves the Charlotte community through programs including the Greater Charlotte Hope Line, the Clyde and Ethel Dickson Domestic Violence Shelter, the Sexual Trauma Resource Center, and the Victim Assistance Court Program.
